ACER is retiring PAT and AGAT paper-based assessment materials. These materials are no longer available for purchase, but paper test scoring will still be available until 11 December 2026. Secondary Transition Editions (STE) for PAT Maths, PAT Reading and AGAT are not affected and will continue to be available.
The following hard copy assessments can no longer be purchased but can still be scored until 11 December 2026:
- PAT Maths 4th Edition
- PAT-R Comprehension 4th Edition
- PAT Science
- PAT Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar
- AGAT
For schools who require paper assessments, ACER's pen-and-paper Secondary Transition Editions of PAT Maths, PAT Reading and AGAT are available to purchase.
