What is changing?
ACER has decided to close its portfolio of third-party psychology and HR/organisational products, including ACER's Psych Testing (APT) platform, to close ACER Press, and to reduce the number of third-party educational products.
From 1 January 2026, most of the products currently sold via the ACER Shop will no longer be available to purchase through ACER.
For ACER's Psych Testing (APT) platform, final purchases and test sittings must be completed by 30 November. Reports will not be available after 31 December and should be downloaded before then.

Why is ACER making this change?
This decision has been made after careful consideration and with the goal of focusing even more closely on improving ACER's products and services to support learning and progress.

Will I be able to purchase affected products elsewhere?
Yes, in most cases, affected products are available to purchase from other Australian resellers or directly from publishers.

Will I lose access to my digital products or online accounts?
ACER's Psych Testing (APT) platform will be closed on 31 December 2025. Please refer to this article for key dates and important information about the closure of the APT platform.
You will not lose access to the online and digital products delivered via third-party digital and online platforms, such as the following:
- ASEBA-Web
- MHS's MAC+ and TAP
- PARiConnect
- Riverside's DataManager
- WPS's Online Evaluation System (OES)

Which products will remain available to purchase from ACER?
Mastery series
ACER will continue to sell the Mastery series of products published by McGraw Hill, including the brand-new international edition of Spelling Mastery, which retains the full scope and sequence of the original program, but has been carefully updated to reflect British English spelling conventions throughout.
PAT and AGAT pen-and-paper assessments
In addition to the ACER General Abilities Test (AGAT) 1st Ed., the following hard copy PAT assessments will remain available to purchase:
- PAT Maths 4th Edition
- PAT-R 4th Edition Comprehension
- PAT-R 4th Edition Vocabulary
- PAT Science
- PAT Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar
ACER's online school assessments, including PAT
These changes do not affect ACER's suite of online school assessments, including the full range of PAT assessments. If you are interested in moving to online PAT testing, please contact our School Support team.
